# Gap Time Reference is not set from external pushbutton

1. Make sure the pushbutton impulse is coming in into the Impulses Push View and note the channel name. \ <img src="/files/WN8O1y6qxYCHKgINZ9QS" alt="" data-size="original">
2. In ? - Command Bindings, make sure that the corresponding channel is set as a binding:\

3. Whenever the pushbutton is clicked, the reference time should be set accordingly\ <img src="/files/P8Xhf6j5x4Vx6DhUi6Qi" alt="" data-size="original">
