# Installation

### Prerequisites <a href="#prerequisites" id="prerequisites"></a>

RaceResultExchange needs the following prerequisites:

* Windows 10 or higher
* x86, x64 or ARM64 (newer Mac computers)
* Latest .NET Desktop Runtime - Download

### Installation <a href="#installation" id="installation"></a>

First make sure that all prerequisites are installed. Then download the latest version from here: [Download Setup](https://downloads.dbnetsoft.com/raceresultconnector/Setup_RaceResultExchange.exe)

Then start the Setup process by starting `Setup_RaceResultExchange.exe`. If the .NET Desktop Runtime is missing the setup program will automatically download it and install it.

In case the applications is not starting, please install the latest .NET Desktop Runtime manually, the installer is not always ableto install the newest version.&#x20;
