# SlideshowElement

This element displays the images of one or more folders one after another, with a transition in between.

## Properties

| Name             | Type     | Description                                                                                       |
| ---------------- | -------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `Path` | String | Folders and single files to display. Relative paths are resolved against the current XAML layout. |
| `ChangeInterval` | TimeSpan | How long each image is shown. Default 5 seconds. |
| `TransitionMode` | Enum     | Transition played between two images. Default `None`.                                             |

## Images

Files with the extensions `.jpg`, `.jpeg`, `.png`, `.bmp` and `.gif` are picked up and displayed in the alphabetical order of their filename. A GIF is animated while it is shown. The number of images found is written to the log, and a path without matching images is reported as a warning.

Several folders or files are given in one `Path`, separated by a vertical bar:

```xml
<controls:SlideshowElement Path="Sponsors|Images\Logo.png"
                           ChangeInterval="0:00:08"
                           TransitionMode="Fade" />
```

## Transitions

`TransitionMode` accepts `None`, `Fade`, `FadeInOut`, `FadeInOutGrow`, `FadeAndBlur`, `FadeAndGrow`, `Flip`, `HorizontalWipe`, `VerticalWipe`, `Melt`, `Down`, `LeftToRight` and `Custom`.

The first image appears without a transition; transitions start with the second one. `Custom` expects the `Transition` property to be set in the layout instead.

Every time the last image has been shown, the element raises its finished event, which a sequence can react to.
