# TargetTimeElement

This element counts down towards a given time of day and can keep counting up once that time has passed.

It builds on [TimeTextElement](/dbnetsoft/screenspro/controls/timetextelement.md); only the properties it adds are listed here.

## Properties

| Name            | Type     | Description                                                                                                                                        |
| --------------- | -------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `TargetTime`    | DateTime | The time that is counted towards. A value with the year 1900 is treated as a time of day and moved to the current day. Defaults to one hour ahead. |
| `RunningFormat` | String   | Format of the remaining or elapsed time. Default `hh:mM:SS`.                                                                                       |
| `ShowCountdown` | Boolean  | Shows the time remaining until `TargetTime`. While it is off, nothing is shown before the target time. Default `true`.                             |
| `ShowCountup`   | Boolean  | Shows the time elapsed since `TargetTime`. While it is off, nothing is shown after the target time. Default `false`.                               |
